My name is River, I'm an artist, illustrator and writer who got my training at UC Berkeley in their Art and Chicano Studies departments. I work primarily in 2D forms today, but previously worked in performance and video work.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and live here presently. In my spare time I work one these pieces that center identity, history, and queer belonging. My hope is this site and my foray into rebuilding my relationship with this practice connects us in a world that is a little more full of color, rich with the stories and experiences that make up our world.
